Hey, I'm Alex Pezzini
and I'm a Fullstack Developer
Career
I'm a full-stack web developer with over 15 years of hands-on experience, specialised in designing modern frontend architectures and complex API integrations. I work primarily with React, TypeScript, and Next.js on the client side, and with Drupal as a structured, flexible backend for content, in headless architectures where the two layers communicate through well-defined APIs. This isn't a stack chosen out of habit: it's the combination that, in my experience, holds up best as requirements grow and complexity increases.
Throughout my career I have led technical teams on projects for brands such as Fedrigoni, Borsalino, Paluani, and Bertazzoni, overseeing everything from user interface design to SEO optimisation. Between 2020 and 2026 I worked as a Senior Developer at Intesys, now part of the Lynx group, on enterprise ecosystems in the Industrial and Fintech sectors: integrations with third-party systems, distributed architectures, solutions that had to work under pressure with no margin for error. Since 2025 I have taught full-stack development at ITS Digital Academy, bringing into the classroom methods and choices forged in the field across more than a decade of real projects.
Since 2026 I have been working on my own with TinyREX, my consulting practice dedicated to Italian SMEs. After years in enterprise settings I realised that mid-sized companies often face the same technical challenges as large ones, but rarely have access to the same expertise. That's the gap I aim to close: bespoke digital solutions that are solid and maintainable, built with modern technology and designed to last.

Development
Web Site & Web Applications
I design and develop bespoke websites and web applications, with particular attention to what happens after handover: every solution must be manageable independently by the people who use it every day, without having to call a developer for every change. I work primarily with React, Next.js, and TypeScript on the frontend, and I choose the CMS based on the project, not out of habit. I have in-depth knowledge of Drupal, which I use both in its traditional form and in headless architectures, and extensive experience integrating custom functionality into existing systems—including corporate portals, private areas, and interactive dashboards.
Mobile First & PWA
I design interfaces starting from the smallest screen, not as a final adaptation but as the starting point. That means the smartphone experience is not a reduced version of desktop: it is the reference everything else is built on. I also build Progressive Web Apps, applications that live in the browser but behave like native apps: they install on the device, work offline, and load quickly even on slow connections. For certain types of project it is the most sensible choice compared to a native app, both in terms of cost and maintenance.
Ecommerce & B2B
I have worked on online sales platforms for very different markets, from consumer to B2B with complex catalogues, customer-specific price lists, and purchasing flows that resemble no standard template. I am a certified BigCommerce Developer—a platform I use when the project calls for infrastructural solidity without giving up flexibility on the frontend. For projects that need full control over architecture, I work on custom solutions integrated with the client's existing systems, from ERPs to CRMs.
Training
ITS Digital Academy
Since 2025 I have been teaching full-stack development at ITS Digital Academy. It is not a side activity: it is how I chose to give something back to a profession that has given me a great deal. In the classroom I bring what I have learned on real projects—including mistakes and shortcuts that do not work. The path I build with students is practical by definition: we work on real projects from the first weeks, because the best way to learn to develop is to develop, not to study how it is done.
Contacts
Through TinyREX I offer my senior experience in two ways: as an external developer for structured teams, or as a fractional technical lead for startups and SMEs.
Developer-as-a-Service
I handle development and maintenance of: websites, web applications, e-commerce and API integrations. I can work directly within your team or independently, following the project from brief to release.
Fractional CTO
I take care of the more strategic technical side: roadmap, architecture, tooling, team coordination. Useful when you need a senior technical figure without the commitment of a full-time hire.
